How to reach the CCIB from the airport

Barcelona Airport El Prat is located 13 kilometers south-west of Barcelona and 20 kilometers from CCIB.

You can reach the CCIB by Metro (tube- Maresme-Fòrum station -yellow line L4), by bus (7, 36, 41, 43 y 141 lines) and Trambesòs (Fòrum station). Any of these means of transport are situated just a few minutes walk from the CCIB.



Train (RENFE)

Trains circulate from 6:00am to 22:29pm from the airport (Aeroport) to the City Center of Barcelona (Passeig de Gràcia station) and from 5:20am to 22:50pm (from Barcelona to the airport)

There is a departure every half hour, and the route takes approximately 25 minutes.
From  Passeig de Gràcia train station you can access the yellow line (L4) Metro station. The nearest station to the CCIB is Maresme- Fòrum.

Autobús Express (Aerobús)

The bus from the airport to the city center (Plaça Catalunya) circulates from 6:00am to 1:00am during workdays and from 6:30am to 1:00am on the weekends (to Barcelona); and from 5:30am to 00:15am workdays and from 6:00am to 00:30am on the weekends (to the aeroport).

The bus circulates every 8 minutes and the route takes 30 minutes.

Metro station Urquinaona (yellow line L4) is next to Plaça Catalunya (square) and is directly linked to the CCIB (Maresme-Fòrum station).

Taxi

The route by taxi takes approximately 20 minutes. Taxi fares change depending on the time of day.

T1 Night-time: workdays from 21:00pm a 7:00am, Saturdays and holidays from 00:00 to 24:00.
T2 Day-time: from 7:00am to 21:00pm.

There are extra charges for entering and/or leaving the airport and for luggage.

Car

To go to Barcelona, just take the Autovia C-31, which is next to the airport. To reach CCIB there are two options; Gran Via or Avinguda Diagonal which pass through the city centre and Ronda de Dalt or Ronda del Litoral (which surround the city) if you prefer to circumvent it.
 

The most direct way to get to the CCIB is taking the detour 24 of Ronda Litoral. The estimated time for the route is 30 minutes, but it depends on the traffic. From the city center, the best option is taking Avinguda Diagonal until the very end.

Bus N17 and N7 

If you are travelling at night, you can also take the bus N17 to go to the city center.

The first bus departs from the airport at  22.05pm, and the last one is at 5.05am.
N17 night bus leaves approximately every 20 minutes.

The first bus departs from Plaça Catalunya at 23.00pm, and the last one is at 5am.
Departures are approximately every 20 minutes.

Once you arrive at Plaça Catalunya, at the corner of  Ronda de Sant Pere Avenue you can take the N7 bus (direction Plaça  Llevant), which ends its route at Fòrum, where the CCIB is located.More information: Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona (TMB)..
